The IBUS Virtual Module 2 platform empowers learners to confidently understand and interpret intestinal ultrasound of the normal and abnormal bowel. This includes identifying bowel segments, key landmarks and surrounding anatomy. Assessment of features of bowel inflammation in Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis will be taught with interactive cine loops.
This platform has been developed by an international group of experts in bowel ultrasonography and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Its goal is to support a continuous educational pathway for gastroenterologists involved in the care of IBD patients, while expanding the access to high-quality eLearning worldwide and support the development of proficiency in IUS image interpretation.
